The wide variety of birds found in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest can provide you many memorable moments. Bird watching is a good way to enjoy your National Forest lands and the knowledge and appreciation that can come from this activity will help you realize what a treasure these lands are. Please respect the land and the wild things which depend on it. This list is the product of a partnership between the USDA Forest Service and the <I>White Mountain Chapter of the National Audubon Society</I>.</H3> <H3>The <I>White Mountain Chapter of Northern Arizona Audubon Society </I>was formed in August 1987 as a result of increased local interest in wildlife.</H3> <H3>The group meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at the Navopache Electric Co-Op Crew Room in Lakeside.
