Cobre Valley Center for the Arts in downtown Globe on Saturday November 25th.
Santa will visit the Oak Street level of the Center for the Arts and be on hand
to listen to childrens wishes until 4 p.m. Come by with your camera for a
photograph opportunity with Santa, or instant photos will be available for a
nomial fee. If you have a letter to Santa you may give it directly to him or
one of his elves.

25th 5:00pm-7:00pm Tall Timbers Navajo County Park Every year the
Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce hosts a party for the community called
Winterfest. Winterfest is an informal event at Tall Timbers County Park where
families can come and enjoy chili or stew, hot beverages, holiday music and a
visit from ole St. Nick. This year the event will be held on Saturday,
November 25th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Plan on bringing the entire family to
visit with friends, acquaintances and Santa or to enjoy some simple holiday
cheer.

Archeological Park celebrates the holiday with 1400 luminaries all lit up
around their ruins. Each year they have a different holiday program. Holiday
music, Native American musicians, storytellers and dancers. Santa Claus will be
present for the little ones. All of this is open to the public from 5 - 9 p.m.
Refreshments will be provided.

425-0194 Bill Morrow. The Gila County Gem & Mineral Show will take place at
the Gila County Fairgrounds, Friday, Saturday from 9 - 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 - 4,
three miles north of the junction of U.S. 60 and 70 near Globe. The popular gem
show features un-finished stones as well as finished jewelry, lapidary
equipment, books, tools, minerals and slabs. Artisans will be on hand to
demonstrate crafts such as gold and silver casting, silver smithing, chain
making, fire agate polishing, twist wirecraft and channel and custom jewelry
making.
