Nelson Reservoir
Located south of Springerville on US 180 at an elevation of 7,000 feet
Nelson Reservoir is a DAY USE only
area. There are 5 picnicking sites on the grounds. Fishing and boating are
available. The managed Season is from April through November. Special
Restrictions include: Boat Launch Ramp, Electric Boat Motors Only, and
Pack-It-In/Pack-It-Out Trash requirements.
