Adjutant's Office 117
Circa 1876
History: Presently serving as the Fort Apache post
office, this structure was once the Adjutant's Office. Built of adobe in 1876,
it is the third oldest surviving building on the post. It has served as the
Adjutant's Office (administration office for the post), military post office,
and as post library (until 1887). The main entrance to the building
originally faced west toward the parade ground.
