Kids Dance Classes
At White Mountain Dance Academy. 5801 America Lane in Wagon Wheel
  • Days: Mondays June 25 - July 30
  • Pre-School Tap Dance, 11-11:30am, Ages 3-5, Cost $30
  • Primary Dance, 11:30-Noon, Ages 6-8, Cost $30
  • Tap Mania, 12:00-12:30pm, Ages 9-12, Cost $30
  • Beginning Ballet, 12:45-1:30pm, Ages 9-12, Cost $45
  • Intermediate Ballet, 1:30-2:15pm, Ages 9-12, Cost $45

Tae Kwon Do for Kids
4th Degree Black Belt Instructor Terry Hurst helps instill mental discipline and develop martial arts skills.
  • Location: Pinetop-Lakeside Civic Center Gym
  • days: Tuesdays 4-5:30pm
  • Ages: For Kids 4 up to early teens
  • Fees: $40/ month, + $5 membership fee.
  • $20 Each Additional family member.

Intermediate-Refresher Fly Tying
This class is for those who have already been exposed to the art of tying flies and would like to advance their skills. Instructor: Mike Yeager - Room 16
  • days: July 10,12,17-119,24-26,31, Aug 1
  • Ages: 9 +
  • Time: 7pm to 9pm
  • Fees: $50 includes all materials

Wednesday Family Fun Night at Woodland Lake Park
Playground, ramadas & volleyball court will be lit for evening enjoyment every Wednesday from May 30th to September 5th. Bring the family for a little mid-week fun under Woodland's evening glow.

Summer Arts & Recreation Youth Program
Fun filled activities for children 6-12. Art projects, sports-play programs, music exploration, special guests & presentations keep the summer fun.
  • Location: Pinetop-Lakeside Civic Center
  • Days: Monday - Friday 9:45am-2:45pm
  • Fees: $10 per day or $40 per week
  • Families with two or more children enrolled will receive a 10% discount.

Fiber Crafts for Kids
Kids explore various craft techniques using yarn, fabric & found items
  • Location: Room 16
  • Ages: 8-13
  • Days: August 2-10 Thursday & Friday Mornings 10am-12pm
  • Fees: $20 (materials included)

Pine Needle Basketry
From the forest floor to finished product, learn the basics of the unique art of needle basketry
  • Days: July 5, 6, 7, 5:00-7:00pm
  • Fees: $25.00 per session (materials included)
  • Age: 12+

Nature Exploration & Interpretive Programs
Learn more about the natural wonders all around us with Daryl Willis of the U.S. Forest Service.
  • Location: Fool Hollow Recreation Area's Outdoor amphitheater in the Eastside day use area
  • Days: Saturday evenings 7:30pm
