Flag Football
Are you ready to rumble? It's Flag Football season, and all
boys & girls in grades 1 through 6 are invited to join in on one of Show
Low's Most popular sports. Participants will learn the fundamentals of
football, teamwork & sportsmanship in this exciting and fast-paced league.
Games are played on Saturdays beginning June 30. Grade level competition is
divided into 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th grades.

Diamondback Baseball
Training Arizona Diamondbacks Training Centers, a traveling series of
youth baseball instructional camps is coming back to Show Low! It's five
totally intense days of big-league instruction for young players ages 7 to 14.
The curriculum is endorsed by the Diamondbacks Baseball staff and is taught by
former pro coaches and players. private instructors, and college and high
school coaches. Each camp is designed to match age and skill level. Learn the
fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base-running as well as
specific position play. An Advanced Training Center will also be offered this
year. Proceeds go to the Arizona Diamondbacks Charities Youth Baseball
fund.
- Fee: $150, includes a Diamondbacks Training Center T-shirt,
cap, sports bag, and two tickets to a Diamondbacks home game

Tennis Lessons Youth tennis
lessons in show Low are back! Boys and girls, ages 7-14 years, are invited to
join professional tennis instructor, Gerard Phillio, for lessons in basic
tennis techniques. Classes will meet Mondays & Wednesdays at the tennis
courts in Show Low City Park beginning June 4th. Tennis balls will be provided.
Students should bring their own tennis racquets.

- Session 1: June 4th - July 11th
- Session 2: July 16th - Aug. 15th
- Time: 6-7pm, 7-8pm
- Ages: 7-10, 11-14
PeeWee T-Ball Introduce your
youngster to the sport of baseball in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere.
Participants will learn the basics of throwing, catching, and batting while
enjoying the excitement of the "game". A team T-shirt is included in the
registration fee. Participants will need to furnish their own glove.

Tang Soo Do Korean Karate This
year-round class is designed to build confidence, flexibility and strength.
Join experienced and certified instructor, John Accardo, as he teaches skills
of concentration, discipline and self-defense.

Itty Bitty Olympics The friendliest
pint-size competition in the White Mountains will take place at Show Low City
Park on Saturday, July 21. Youngsters will enjoy a variety of games like a
t-ball throw and an obstacle course. Everyone who participates will take home a
certificate. Contest winners will be awarded medals for their efforts

Field
Free Fishing Clinic For All Ages Walt
Oaxley, Arizona Game & Fish Educator and avid fisherman, invites you to
another FREE fishing clinic at the Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area. The
Arizona Game & Fish Dep't provides the rods, reels and bait. Fishing
license and park entrance fees are waived for all participants.
