T-Pads! Come out and enjoy our new FREE USE ( Long and Short ) 19 hole Disc Golf Course, in Pinetop-Lakeside Woodland Park. This new sport offers recreational activity and attractions for all ages, also a chance to get out in the forest and have some fun. Disc Golf is one of the worlds fastest growing sport with over 3,000 courses in the U.S. a new course being added almost every week. Held at the Wood Land Disc Golf Course in Pinetop/Lakeside, Arizona. Yet another wonderful tournament at the Mountain Meadows Recreation Center, there where 90 entrants with a surprising number of women golfers and a large group of Jr's. Lots of food, prizes & free beer ! We all want to thank Manny and the entire Duran Clan for hosting the event ! Also... we want everyone to know how much we appreciate all of the people who helped with the course & the tournament, you all make disc golf in the White Mountains a real blast ! Wood Land Course Weekly activities are Wednesdays at 3:30 PM. Also Saturdays @ 2:30 PM. and Sunday at 10:00 ( times vary check with us for seasonal play time) Come on down for Lessons, Meet Some Disc Golfers, Buy Some Discs, or... Join in a Weekly Contests... It's time again for the Top Of The Pines Disc Golf Tournament !
July 17th - 18th .2010 At the Worlds Am Tournament this year it was Nickolas Duran who took first place in his division (way to go Nick). The First Annual Wood Land Disc Golf Tournament, Was Sept. 1st, 2001. Click HERE for the first year Tournament Results. We hope everybody will attend our next tournament, and anyone can play in our Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday Groups ! Woodland Disc Golf Friends have built a Disc Golf Course in the new Medow View Multi-Use Park. The Disc Golf Course is now open for FREE use with baskets donated by local business and individuals. Please visit our Sponsors Page. Listen To What We Have ! Land , All by ourselves ! Trails , Developed and Improving ! Chain Star Baskets, Tee Signs , for Each Hole with Local Sponsors ! Some Benches, & More on the Way ! Donated by Local Disc Golfers. League Sign, Trees, and Rock Walls , ( Moving rocks for the trails has given us more Obstacles ). This has all been done by Local Disc Golfers with the Interest of having " You " check it out, and have some FUN.
The Wood Land Course in Pinetop-Lakeside is Off Woodland Rd, Behind the Woodland Business Complex, in the new multi use park just finished,( where the festival site has sometimes been in the summer ). Coming from Show Low , go through Lakeside until you find the street light on Woodland Rd, by Blue Ridge High School, Turn right on Woodland Rd, about 1 mile down on the left, there is a sign on the left showing the entrance to the park.
